Disney XD - A brand new TV channel

Disney XD is a new television channel broadcasting in India.

Disney XD replaced Toondisney/Jetix India,on November 14 12:00 noon IST.Owned by The Walt Disney Company. It operates under the international brand Disney XD.

The channel is targeted at children and adolescents, especially among boys aged between 6 and 18.The first show on Disney XD (India) was Aaron Stone.

Kadalekayi Parishe

Hi, yesterday was "Kadalekai Parishe" (Groundnut fair) held in Basavanagudi in Bull temple road.

I too went to that fair along with my Mom, they celebrated it very grandly, even i too did not image they would celebrate so grandly from the main road till the 'Bull temple' there were full of groundnut shops and other shops.

I thought that the price of the groundnut may be cheap when I asked them it was more than the actual price. There were also joy rides like giant wheel etc. And in the temple it was very crowdy, the God was also decorated with groundnuts, it looked so beautiful. I too had fun there.......

Story behind the "Kadalekai Parishe"

The legend has it that the surrounding area of the temple, known as Sunkenahalli was cultivated for groundnut. A bull started grazing in the well-grown groundnut crop, at this, a farmer got furious and hit the bull with a club. Immediately the bull sat down becoming motionless and was transformed into a stone. Poor farmers were left stun and felt guilty. For their repentance they decided to build a temple for the bull, to their surprise the bull was growing in height. The worried farmer then prayed to Lord Shiva who advised them to redeem a trident buried a few feet away from the bull and place the trident on the forehead of the stone statue to stop it from growing. Farmers followed the Lord’s advice and the bull stopped growing. Still one can see the trident place on bull’s forehead.Since then farmers offer their first crop of groundnut to the bull. The farmer’s hold a Groundnut fair known as Kadalekayi Parishe, near the temple premises every year, to show their thankfulness.Bull temple, Bangalore

Hi, this is my first blog

Hi, today was "Anthariksh Jnan" (Exhibition)in my school and also Childrens'day, this year in our school is Astronomy year, and i am participating in Computer Science and in Computer Science i am explaining about Macromedia Flash and i have also done a small presentation based on 'Astronomy' using Macromedia Flash. It started at 9:00 AM .I enjoyed a lot this day having fun and explaining about my project to those who came to our exhibiton. And i had Masal Dosa cost of Rs.15 it was not so good and it was smaller in size too and price of it was not reasonable according to me, and i was tired of explaining and the time was 4:00 o' clock when i left the school. And reached home at 4:20 and had my snacks and took some rest by entertaining myself by watching TV and working on computer and the time was 6:00 o' clock it was time for my tution. My tution timing is 5:00 to 7:oo or 7:30 and saturday the timing is 2:00 to 3:00 3:30 but because that today is Childrens' day it's 6:00 to 7:00 i had fun with my with my friends after reading by playing and giggling with friends and came back home at 7:30. And went out with my dad outside to buy a magazine it is little far but walkable distance and came back home at 8:30 and after watching TV for somewhile i had my dinner and came to browse in computer and my dad said to post a blog even i too started and it was cool then i posted this blog.
